NORTH EAST REGION
"Our Region provides a contact point for Amicus members in the
North East. The office covering Health Service members is in
Newcastle. Our Region covers one of the most picturesque areas
of the country and our membership is drawn from a wide range of
Industries and Services. We encourage all our Regional members
to take an active interest in the Regions Union activities -
after all it's their union, and this is their opportunity to be
involved and make their voices heard. Amicus North East Region
is committed to work for the interest of each and every one of
its members - for security, for better pay and conditions, for
equal opportunities, for safe and healthy working environments,
with advice and support for a successful future". This website
is run by John Rhodes, NHS Organiser and Regional Education
Officer, so there is always info about NHS and Education events
in the Region.
